RULES FOR THE USE OF INSIGNIA AND DECORATIONS

Insignia and Decorations can only be used with the habit of the Order, with formal dress (tails) and with business casual dress (under very specific conditions).

HABIT | FORMAL | INFORMAL |

By formal dress (or formal wear) it is understood a white tie (and tails) for men and long dress (or the equivalent) for ladies. It is the official uniform for all civilian ceremonies of the Order whenever the use of the habit is forbidden.

The use of insignia with morning dress or a dinner jacket (tuxedo) might be tolerated, but it is not a substitute for the official ceremonies. It might be tolerated in private gatherings such as wedding ceremonies, usually happening in the morning.

The insignia and decorations are placed exactly the same way as with the use of the habit.
