MEDAL OF MERIT

The Medal of Merit consists of a circle of silver with the insignia of the Order in the center (in relief) and a border with the inscription: «MEDALHA DE MÉRITO + ORDEM DE SANTA EULÁLIA». Over the circle a royal crown of silver. The ribbon of red over white (the red being six times the size of the white bar) suspended by a clasp of gold with a rosette in the center: of red for the Arts, white for the Letters, yellow for the Sciences, light blue for the Teaching, deep blue for Commerce and green for Industry.
